Celebrating 20 Years Of Events ✨
We've spent 20 years delivering events for other people. It's about time we showed up for ourselves, so here we are.
Two decades ago in July of 2006, Leading Technology opened its doors with our first event at the National Convention Centre in Canberra. The client was Team Mak and it was their winter conference. We will be directing this same conference (now called Legacy) as it tours Perth, Melbourne and Auckland this month.
From delivering Wi-Fi into a sandcastle, to a gala dinner under the stars in Ooraminna (NT), to livestreaming into a surgical theatre and a hybrid event with 37,000 attendees, Leading Technology has had the privilege of helping to deliver an incredible array of events.
From my early days at Staging Connections in Canberra, where I first learnt how to roll a cable to now leading a production company that delivers events across Australia and internationally, what a ride it has been.
Thank you for allowing me to work in a field I love, in an industry that is full of talented, creative and passionate people.
Whilst the industry has changed a lot over the last twenty years our motivation to deliver exceptional events hasn't. Being the first one on site and the last to leave wouldn’t be sustainable if you didn’t!
This milestone is not just mine though.
It is for every client who handed us their vision, their reputation and their trust, to every supplier who collaborated with us and every team member both past and present who poured their heart and energy into making extraordinary events happen.
To my fellow producers and AV companies who have shared their wisdom, equipment, knowledge and support, thank you.
No event happens in isolation. It is because of all of you that this company exists.
